Our Father Hem 2010

The liturgy brings the text of the prophet ..................
of Jesus' teaching about prayer.

My word shall not return to me without having done my will.

For us who are familiar with the Gospel of John, we understand that the word of God is Jesus. Word sent into the world and returns to the father after having done the will of the Father.

The Father's will is the salvation of every man.
Concretely, this salvation is given by the obedience of Jesus, his teaching and by his actions and his
prayer.

We also now realize we can speak as Jesus has done.

First by deciding to live the Eucharist and our whole life "for the glory of God and the salvation of the world."

Then reciting the Our Father:
recited in faith and hope, the Our Father makes indeed the will of God.
is the word of Jesus himself who comes to the Father indeed, for our lips, that Jesus is bearing fruit.
When we recite the Our Father
it happens that his name is really sanctified
his kingdom
happens that his will is really made

This prayer is real food.
It disposes us to make this day what God wants to sanctify
its behalf by the rectitude of our relationship to others, by the consistency of our lives
to bring about his kingdom of justice and peace
to its control through joyful events or difficult as we live today.

Really, we will be disciples of Jesus
and true son of the Father in heaven. homily

Moving among them Jesus went his way

2010 4th Sunday in Ordinary
Moving among them, Jesus went his way

Perspective St. Luke is Pauline. Since people of Nazareth did not want him, he will go to the Gentiles. So Jesus appears before the supremely self denial and contradictions.
It will be the same in his passion. On the Cross, he is not content to pass the salvation of a people in the entire universe, but he puts his friends in the kingdom of the earth to the kingdom of heaven. In passion, we can also say Jesus from among them who kill Jesus went his way, this time to the Father.
This text tells us about the attitude to be confronted by obstacles, contradictions ..
obstacles which arise from our loved ones or ourselves, our objections, our doubts.
Throughout life, ordained, or consecrated or lay there are times when we must learn to go with Jesus in their midst and go our way. An offensive word
saddens us and provoke us, illness or disability occurs and weakens us, doubt assails us, am I really on the right path, my life has it been successful, fruitful .. ?
Behind these words there Escarpment, boredom, melancholy, doubt, or even despair.

is that Jesus and the way we confuse ..
There were periods of signs and certainties, our healing Capernaum. Then there
the Nazareth of our bodies, our emotions, and this is Nazareth is the matrix, the womb of our human person. And that's where we want Jesus to do miracles in the sense that we want and we will find Ash Wednesday in the temptations of the devil. Through the magic of a word or a gesture and it's heaven right now.
must admit that our heart, like the inhabitants of Nazareth, is not ready to recognize God in the carpenter's son, that is to say, in the today of our pain, in today our business and in the banality of our meetings, always the same people!

One way to track Jesus' body that passes through the crowd to follow his wake, clinging to his shirt that splits the hostile crowd and stubbornly, persistently, stubbornly, to take his body and go his way with him today
A what sign we recognize that we are well behind him Jesus? We can fix
tonight two very recognizable attitudes in the Virgin Mary but also among all the saints we love:
1) The perfection of our daily tasks, up in the morning, a time of prayer, fraternal life, repetitive activities
2) The perfection of charity. Rereading St. Paul

Be safe, be, most the great miracle is coming true: it is not water but wine we serve others by our presence, our daily actions and our ordinary prayer.
It is not only on this earth that we walk, but we are already on our way into the kingdom of God, near
This attitude is the missionary, the most effective, which is more evangelical. Jesus will never like Peter, Paul and other apostles to the Gentiles, his ministry is almost as small as closure of nuns, because Palestine is small, the path between Gabbatha and Golgotha even shorter, and through the Cross again shorter.
However, that is, in this small space allotted to him, that from among them and he digs his way from ours
By communion with his body and blood, learn to walk behind him. Amen
